One of Türkiye’s most comprehensive gatherings in the insurance sector, the “Insurance İzmir – Insurance Stakeholders Cooperation Fair and Summit,” will be held at Fuar İzmir on June 11–13, 2026. Organized for the first time in İzmir through the initiatives of the İzmir Chamber of Commerce and the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, the fair is expected to give significant momentum to the city in the field of insurance, leveraging İzmir’s thousands of years of trade culture, port city identity, and transportation advantages.
Cooperation from All Institutions
The “Insurance İzmir – Insurance Stakeholders Cooperation Fair and Summit” will be organized under the auspices of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK), with the support and contributions of leading sector institutions including the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), İzmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO), Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO), TOBB Insurance Agencies Executive Committee (SAİK), and Insurance Loss Adjusters Executive Committee (SEİK). The event will be hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and İZFAŞ.
Three-Day Event
During the organization, which will take place on June 11–13, 2026, all components of the sector will come together, including insurance companies, insurance agencies, loss adjusters, reinsurance firms, insurtech startups, public institutions, financial organizations, academics, students, damage repair companies active in claims processes, construction service providers, healthcare institutions, and automotive repair service providers.
Over the course of three days, participants will have the opportunity both to showcase their products and services and to establish direct connections with industry professionals.
Özgener: “This Organization Is a Beginning”
İzmir Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mahmut Özgener expressed his satisfaction that their initiatives to bring the Insurance Sector Cooperation Fair and Congress — one of the country’s most important insurance gatherings held under the auspices of TOBB — to İzmir had yielded positive results.

Aegean Region Chamber of Industry Chairman and TOBB Vice President Ender Yorgancılar also expressed his enthusiasm, saying:

Yorgancılar emphasized the importance of the fair both for the sector and for İzmir, noting that Türkiye and İzmir are unfortunately highly vulnerable to disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods.
“As a city that has experienced earthquakes, fires, and floods, we know very well that one of the most important and effective ways of mitigating the harmful effects of disasters is the insurance system. Therefore, this fair, which will continue for three days with various events, will bring together all stakeholders and contribute to a vital national issue as well.
