About

İzmir, a port city where commercial relations have been intense throughout its history, also hosted the country’s first fairs. The “Numune Meşheri” (Sample Exhibition) organized during the Izmir Economic Congress was later renamed the “9 September Meşheri” (9 September Local Exhibition), and these exhibitions were accepted as the 1st Izmir International Fair.

“Kültürpark” hosted Izmir International Fair, Türkiye’s first international fair. To respond to the increasing potential of the fair industry, to create a platform in line with world fair standards, and to maximize sectoral interaction, fuarizmir was established on March 25, 2015. Türkiye’s largest, newest, and most modern fair center, fuarizmir was inaugurated with Marble, the International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, Türkiye’s largest specialized fair.

fuarizmir is operated by İZFAŞ (İzmir Fair Services, Culture, and Art Affairs).
